HARLOW MP Robert Halfon says, and I quote, ‘Everything I have done since the referendum has been to fulfil the pledge to ensure that we leave the EU”.

This statement misleads the People of Harlow, because he has not said anything against the so-called ‘Deal’ accepted by Teresa May, which means we would stay in the customs union, and large parts of the single market. Also, our Westminster parliament, would not have a say over the laws that govern this country.

Robert Halfon, on his website earlier in the year, wrote that Britain will leave the EU, the single market, the customs union, and will not be subject to European law. This is proved to be, once more, totally misleading.

It seems that UKIP is the only Party that insists that we are governed by our own Laws and really leave the EU. Why does Robert Halfon want us to be part of a Europe where there is so much social unrest and where the economy is getting worse by the day?

The EU desperately needs our trade, we can walk away without a deal and negotiate from a position of strength.
