Harlow Kiddi Caru Delivers Early Christmas Presents To Streets2Homes

The staff at Kiddi Caru’s day nursery in Harlow have been putting together packs of essentials for local charity Streets2Homes to distribute to the homeless this Christmas.

Secret Santa was cancelled this year and instead the staff decided to use the money to help those in need over the festive season. The packs contain everything from toothbrushes, tissues and gloves to toiletries and socks. In addition, a donation basket was put in the nursery’s reception, so parents could donate hats, scarves, jumpers, coats and toiletries to the charity.

Louise Farrow, Nursery Manager, said: “We’ve had an amazing response to the donation basket and all the staff have been very committed to putting together the packs for Streets2Homes. We hope that these donations help to make a difference to people living on the streets this Christmas. Streets2Homes does an amazing job of helping people to get back into accommodation and we were so happy to be able to provide some support to the charity especially at this time of year.”
