NEARLY all of Frank Jackson’s ninety years have been dedicated to peace and justice. Even at the recent Bush Fair by-election, Frank took his turn, on a cold day, helping out at the polling station.
YH visited Frank at his home to talk about his life, his belief and his causes. We asked him to reflect on past, present and future.
Im many was a thirty minute interview with Frank does not do it justice and so we say that this is a just a glimpse into the life of a man who has given so much to valiant and valid causes.
Frank is a role model for today's young socialists, campaigners and activists. From the same generation as Harry Leslie Smith, and with a similar commitment to social justice. It may not even be a coincidence that the Harlow Labour Party Parliamentary candidate, Laura McAlpine, has named her new baby Frank ... Frank Jackson is a local legend.
