HARLOW residents are invited to join the directors and staff of The Princess Alexandra Hospital Trust at their next Board meeting that is taking place at 9 – 10.30am on 7 March (2019) at the Harlow Leisurezone, Second Avenue, Harlow, CM20 3DT.

Open to all, the Board will be considering a number of items including the preferred way forward for a new local hospital to replace the current Princess Alexandra Hospital and a maternity incentive scheme. They will also be hearing reports from the quality and safety and performance and finance committees.

Lance McCarthy, chief executive, Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust said:
“We anticipate that local people will be interested to hear more about the preferred way forward for our new hospital.

“I would like to highlight that the Board meeting is to authorise that we can move to the next stage of the business planning process, which is legally required, for the preferred way forward for a new hospital.

“It is not the final decision, which can only be made once a full business case has been completed and approved.

“Anyone with questions they would like to ask is invited to send these to us ahead of the meeting.”

Members of the public wishing to ask questions of the Board members are asked to send these to [email protected] or call 01279 444455 x2555 before 6 March (2019).

Board papers will be published on the About us; what we do pages at www.pah.nhs.uk by 1 March 2019.
