Harlow driver charged after pedestrian struck down and shatters arm

A HARLOW woman has been charged with careless driving after a road traffic collision in The Pinnacles that saw a pedestrian struck down.
Hannah Matthews, aged 26, of Abbotsweld, Harlow was charged with the following.
On 07/01/2019 at Harlow drove a mechanically propelled vehicle, namely a Blue Peugeot 206 Urban, on a road, namely Parkway, Harlow without due care and attention
On 07/01/2019 the defendant drove said car without due care and attention in that the vehicle struck a member of public while they were crossing the road, causing the pedestrian to sustain ten broken bones in her left arm which required surgery to correct with a metal plate and pins, bruised ribs and knees.
The next appearance at Chelmsford magistrates court will be on May 5th, 2019 in order to enter a plea.
