HARLOW’s paddling pools and splash park are set to open later this month.
Harlow Council has also provided an update on plans to convert a number of pools into splash parks.
Councillor Eugenie Harvey, Portfolio Holder for Community Wellbeing, said: “The town’s five paddling pools and splash park at Potter Street will open for the summer holidays from 25 July 2019 until 1 September 2019.
“The review of the pools is ongoing and consultation with the community on their future and how they can be enhanced will take place during the summer holidays. The consultation will include getting the views of local families and young people.
All the views will then be considered and an update on the review will go to the Scrutiny Committee in October 2019. The review being carried out is about enhancing and keeping these much-loved facilities going into the future. We are also looking at how we can improve the facilities for families at the pools.
