Emergency services attend Primark after toddler seriously injured in lift incident

Statement from Primark
“Emergency services attended our Harlow store today after an accident in the store. A child has since been taken to hospital for further examination. We take the health and safety of our customers very seriously and we are currently investigating this incident.”
Statement from Ambulance service
An ambulance and an ambulance officer vehicle were called to Broad Walk, Harlow this afternoon (July 16) following reports of a child injured in an accident in one of the stores.
The boy was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital with a serious upper limb injury.
Statement from Fire Service
“We attended at Broad Walk, Harlow at just after 3pm today (Tuesday) after a report that reports of toddler’s arm stuck in lift door.
Th child was left in care of Ambulance Service at 15.16.
YH has received reports that the emergency services are in attendance at Primark in Harlow Town Centre.
A fire crew as well as an ambulance crew have attended at the scene.
