Police appeal for two missing girls last seen in Harlow

Update: Herts Police: “We are pleased that 11-year-old Konnie Chapman and 15-year-old Ruby Mae Pavli, who were reported missing from Hoddesdon in the early hours of this morning, have been found safe and well this evening (Saturday 3 August).
Thank you to all those who shared our appeal to trace them”.

POLICE are appealing for the public’s help to trace two girls who have gone missing from Hoddesdon.

Konnie Chapman, aged 11, and Ruby Mae Pavli, aged 15, were last seen at their home addresses in the west of the town, near to The Sun pub, between 12 noon and 1pm yesterday (Friday 2 August).

Konnie is described as white and 4ft 10in tall with very long blonde hair. She was last seen wearing black tassel shorts, a glittery top and a purple gilet.

Ruby Mae is described as white and 5ft 2in tall with shoulder length brown hair. She was last seen wearing jeans with a white vest top and a black hoody.

Officers believe the girls were travelling in the direction of London via train as two girls matching their description were seen at Harlow train station in Essex at 11.30pm last night.

Extensive enquiries are continuing today and officers are doing all they can to trace the girls.

If you have seen or spoken to either Konnie or Ruby Mae since they were reported missing, you have seen them in the last few moments or you are with them now, please call 999 immediately quoting ISR 4 of 3 August.
