General Election Question Time: Fiery scenes as Labour candidate questioned on Jeremy Corbyn and antisemitism

General Election 2019 / Wed 20th Nov 2019 am30 09:03am

THERE were fiery scenes at the Harlow General Election Question Time after questions were posed on Jeremy Corbyn’s association with other organisations and the way complaints of antisemitism have been handled.

Both questions from the floor were directed at the Labour candidate, Laura McAlpine but all the candidates tackled the issues.

The questions came at the end of the evening and you can see that they certainly fired emotions in the audience.

Now we see what L M is about. Out of control tantrum and violent outbursts because the audience disliked her comments, and twisted regard for the questioners. Only two people actually sounded reasonable and rational, the Liberal and the Tory candidate.

Last night Guido revealed that the comic who Corbyn picked to take over and manage his Instagram account during ITV’s debate is gigging to raise money for Corbyn’s old friends, Hamas. Putting the “ha, ha” into Hamas… Today, Guido can disclose that Tez Ilyas was also invited to speak at PalExpo by Friends of al-Aqsa, a group described by the Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center as “a pro-Hamas British organization based in Leicester which advocates Israel’s elimination.” Tez Ilyas also just this month appeared on a Corbynista alt-left YouTube channel, where he joked that if Prince Andrew and Epstein were Pakistani, they’d be a grooming gang from Rotherham. Presumably that means they’d have got away with it for 20 years whilst Labour councils were too afraid to say anything about it… I know it's copied and pasted but think it shows Labour up for just what they are.

Tez Ilyas - that's Tez from Tez Talks fame? I haven't listened to every episode but his Radio 4 series was a great listen. From what I can tell, the actual quote is “If Prince Andrew and Jeffery Epstein were Prince Shokat and Jaffa Ali from Rotherham, they’d be a grooming gang innit” The actual video is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ztVhFFcoHc "Presumably" - the message I got from the video was, if Jeffery Epstein were taxed at the **right** level, he wouldn't have had the money to do what he did. Tax the over privileged, tax the elete, tax the top 5%, tax the fat cats, tax the tax evaders. Get them to pay back to society. Don't give them even more tax breaks. I think that was the message Tez was trying to get across. I didn't hear him mention Labour councils in the video. Maybe I missed it.
