ESSEX Firefighters were called to a road traffic collision on the M11 Southbound between Junction 7 and 6 just before this 6am morning.

On arrival, crews reported that a man was trapped in his vehicle and worked to release him by 7:34am.

The casualty was left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
