HARLOW MP Robert Halfon has pledged to champion the cause of the town’s bin men after they balloted for strike action over allegations of bullying and intimidation at their work.
Mr Halfon met the bin men in Church Langley on Friday morning to hear their concerns.
This was the day after they had debated balloting for strike action in an emergency meeting with their union Unison at the Latton Bush Centre.
We spoke to Mr Halfon after he had spoken to the bin men and told us what he planned to do next.
