Emergency services called to town after reports child had suffered cardiac arrest

Statement from family spokesperson
“The baby has received the upmost amazing care from PAH yesterday and was stabilised before being transferred by the CATS team to a London hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
” We are ever indebted to the courageous lady that helped save our beautiful boy yesterday and we can’t express enough thanks to everyone who played a vital part yesterday in our babies care.
“We would really appreciate if everyone could respect our privacy at this difficult time”.
EMERGENCY services rushed to the scene of a medical emergency in Harlow Town Centre on Friday afternoon.
Both police and ambulance attend in the main Broad Walk.
An ambulance spokesperson said: “We were called at 12.04pm with reports of a cardiac arrest near Harvey Centre Approach, Harlow.
“We sent an ambulance, ambulance officer and a rapid response vehicle.
“A child was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital for further care”.
