Table-Tennis: BATTS are keen to get bat to ball

Sport / Wed 10th Jun 2020 at 01:28pm

AS you may have guessed, our sports pages have been a bit quiet. So we decided to drop in on our regular contributors and see how they are getting on.

This week, we spoke to a member Harlow Table Tennis organisation, BATTS.

BATTS are based at the Norman Booth Centre in Old Harlow.

We spoke to Graham Frankel, who is not only a coach but also runs their website.

Graham said: “Naturally, this has been a very frustrating time. The Norman Booth is closed and we do not know when we will be restarting.

“We are guided by Table Tennis England and all events up to the end of July have been cancelled.

But we have also been given a step by step guide to recovery.

Of course, we miss our tase tennis very much and look forward to the day we can all get back again.

“I have been keeping busy with zoom seminars and webinars but we are all itching to get back.”
