Dispersal Order put in place on Water Lane

A dispersal order has been put in place in part of Roydon following concerns about potential crime and anti-social behaviour.

It follows reports of a number of people gathering at an address in Water Lane, this evening, Saturday 20 June.

Officers have spoken to the owner and continue to patrol the area to monitor the situation.

A dispersal order has been put in place until 6am tomorrow, Sunday 21 June.

It covers Water Lane between the junctions with the B181 Epping Road and Brookside, Harlow.

The order gives officers the powers to direct anyone causing anti-social behaviour to leave the area.

Breaching any direction given under the order is a criminal offence and we will use policing powers as appropriate to deal with any anti-social and criminal behaviour.

Please report any incidents to 101, or 999 in an emergency.
