Harlow MP writes to minister over concerns regarding office block conversions

HARLOW MP Robert Halfon has written to the Minister of State for Housing over concerns regarding proposed changes to planning regulations that could impact on Harlow.

The main concern is that any relaxation to laws regarding permitted development and office block conversions could see an expansion to that have already proliferated in Harlow.

Mr Halfon’s letter to Chris Pincher centres on concerns over quality, location, out of area placements, social impact and a host of other factors.

It is not often that I would agree with Robert Halfon but in this instance I would like to thank Robert for his continued efforts to try and stop this epidemic of poor quality building that has blighted Harlow and many other towns throughout the country. I am still not sure I would vote for you but I fully support your efforts in this matter and I hope that politicians from all the parties will work together to protect Harlow from these greedy developers.
