News / Thu 10th Sep 2020 at 08:14am

CHANGING Lives FC lost their first league game of the season.

They are playing in Harlow and District League Division Two

Result – Birchanger FC 3 – 0 Changing Lives FC

Coach David Simmons said: “It was a match to forget. The boys started slow with no real threat in front of goal.

We went down 1-0 when a free kick slipped through our keeps fingertips. 30 minutes into the game things went from bad to worse and our left back received a straight red card for a dangerous foul. Then in the final minutes of the first half they scored a header from close range.

We went into the 2nd half positive but unfortunately we missed a big chance and they then scored to make it 3-0.

We we were nervous and always second to every ball. We must go into our second game with a positive attitude and a belief that we can win.

“We go again next Sunday at Home against  Harberts FC.
