HARLOW Running Club had five ladies competing at the off road and hilly Beachy Head Half Marathon at Eastbourne.

Catherine Ridge finished in 537th place out of 694 finishers in a commendable 2hrs 49min 50sec. She was followed by Michelle Hyde 538th in 2.50.22, Joy Hale 539th in 2.50.23, Jane Evans 543rd in 2.50.41 and Iwona Antolik 569th in 2.56.56. 

Meanwhile at the Woodchurch 10 Mile race in Kent Andy Kinney finished in 112th place out of 127 finishers in 1.47.34.
