A HARLOW resident has been charged with careless driving after a head on collision on the Crooked Mile.

Gavril Kalmar, aged 53, of Markwell Wood, Harlow has been charged with the following.

On 16/12/2019 at Waltham Abbey drove a mechanically propelled vehicle, namely Renault Laguna , on a road, namely Crooked Mile Waltham Abbey without due care and attention.

On 16/12/2019 the defendant drove Renault Laguna on Crooked Mile without due care and attention in that the defendant overtook an Articulated Lorry and collided head on with a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction.

The case has been adjourned until November 12th at Southend magistrates court.
