Harlow’s Harry completes half marathon for charity

HARLOW’s Harry Tennison was planning to run the London Marathon this year for his chosen charity, the MS Society.

But as well know, Covid-19 put paid to that.

Harry has deferred his entry until next October but in the meantime he wanted to continue his fundraising, and so on Sunday, he ran 13.1 miles around Harlow.

Assisted by friend James Griggs on his bike and well wishers around the course., Harry completed the half marathon in a very creditable 2hrs and 9 mins.

Harry has now raised over £1,000 and plans to continue fund-raising in the lead up to the big race in 2021.
