Labour broke equalities law over anti-Semitism

A REPORT into allegations of anti-Semitism in Labour found the party was “responsible for unlawful acts of harassment and discrimination” reports the BBC.

The UK’s human rights watchdog identified “serious failings” under former leader Jeremy Corbyn to deal with anti-Jewish racism.

And the watchdog said Mr Corbyn’s office had “politically interfered” in the complaints process.

Labour’s new leader Sir Keir Starmer said it was “a day of shame”.

He promised to implement the recommendations of the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) “as soon as possible in the New Year” and to “change the culture” of the party.
