A COVID-19 outbreak has occurred at a warehouse in Harlow.

The location is the Brakes food warehouse at Flex Meadow in The Pinnacles.

YH understands that thirteen people have contracted the virus.

A spokesperson for Essex County Council, said: “There have been a small number of confirmed COVID-19 cases at the Brakes site in Harlow.

“We are working closely with Public Health England, Harlow District Council, Environmental Health Officers and the business to better understand the cause and to ensure that it has been contained.

“Coronavirus cases continue to increase across all areas of Essex, both within the community and within discrete outbreaks. It is therefore essential that people help us to reduce the ‘R’ value by working from home wherever this is possible and by adhering to the guidance around not mixing with people from different households.”

I worked here for two years, they have no regard for your health and safety whatsoever. I was actually attacked by two members of the public whilst on duty and brakes had no interest at all!
