Junction 7 to 8 . Police have now been able to open lanes 1 and 2 past scene. Lane 3 on both the northbound and the southbound remain closed to due central reservation barrier damage.

1300 hrs

M11 – J7 to J8 – Traffic Collision – all lanes have are blocked and the Carriage Way has been closed at J7 Harlow.

Please use alternative routes

Anyone planning to travel along the M11 northbound between junctions seven and eight is asked to follow the solid diamond diversion route.

• Exit at J7 Northbound onto the A414 west to Harlow.
• Continue on the A414 through Harlow to the A414/A10 roundabout. 
• At the roundabout taken the second exit onto the A10 northbound.
• Continue o nthe A10 through Ware, Thundridge, High Cross, and Colliers End to the A1/A120 roundabout. 
• At the roundabout take the third exit onto the A120. 
• Continue on the A120 through Standon and Little Hadlam, and rejoin the M11 at J8.
