Harlow man pleads guilty to ringing woman 162 times in 24 hours

A HARLOW man has pleaded guilty to harassing a woman by telephoning her 162 times in a day.

Leon Oxenham, aged 30, of Malkins Drive Church Langley, Harlow pleaded guilty at Chelmsford magistrates court to the following.

On 14/10/2020 and 15/10/2020 at Harlow pursued a course of conduct which amounted to the harassment of a woman and which you knew or ought to have known amounted to the harassment of her in that between 14th to 15th October 2020 you called Gemma 162 times and messaged her several times.

This was committed during the operational period of a suspended sentence order made by Chelmsford Crown Court on 13/02/2020 for an offence of harassment.

Oxenham was committed to Chelmsford Crown Court for sentence on January 15th, 2021.

He remains in custody.
