Letter to Editor: Culling deer in Epping Forest

Dear Editor.
ONE can’t but reflect the deer were here first, it’s us that have plundered and destroyed habitat so perhaps a bit more tolerance about the relatively small damage they do to crops.
Instead of this massive cull why not neuter enough to stabilise the population and relocate the deer other areas eg to deer parks, National parks, the Royal Parks and open heaths /woodland?
Is there not a national joined up UK policy to help sort this out?
Individual organisations like the Epping Forest management Committee need to work within a wider framework.
