A HARLOW welfare organisation has made a donation to help with striking bin men in Thurrock.
Harlow’s Coronavirus People Before Profit Action Group has told YH they are supporting the strikers 100% (see story from our sister paper below).
A spokesperson said: “What’s being done to them is appalling with wages cuts between £2000 and £3500 demanded of them.
“We have sent an initial donation of £50 in solidarity and hope to raise more.
“We have an online meeting planned next week over the right to protest and we hope to have a Thurrock striker address that meeting with a view to raising some solidarity”.
