HUNDREDS gathered in Harlow Town Centre as part of the Save Our Stort campaign.

The protestors walked across town to highlight the issues that they have been passionately campaigning against for over the last year.

As well as protesting they were able to speak to shoppers and local residents about the campaign.

They even managed to canvass Harlow MP Robert Halfon who said he would again urge the planners to ‘go back to the drawing board”.

Organsiser, Julie Taylor said: “What an amazing day we had! Such a huge turnout for the protest.

“We did a good job today, raised awareness and made a lot of noise.”
