Harlow Gymnastics Club pleased to be re-opened

HARLOW Gymnastics club were thrilled to follow the recent 2020 Tokyo Olympics where Team GB amassed a total of 65 medals, including 3 in gymnastics.
Achieving the bronze medal, Team GB’s women’s artistic team comprising Alice Kinsella, Amelie Morgan, and twins Jessica Gadirova and Jennifer Gadirova made history by winning the first women’s Olympic team medal in 93 years. More gymnast medal joy from Bryony Page; following on from her silver medal sucess in Rio 2016, she claimed the 2020 bronze in the trampolining. Essex gymnast Max Whitlock defended his Olympic title securing his sixth Olympic medal over three Games to win the men’s pommel horse final with a commanding score.
Club co-owner Peter James said “It’s great to have our club up and running again after such a difficult time. Taking part in sports improves everyone’s physical and mental well-being, for beginners as well as Olympians”
Harlow Gymnastics club and Head Over Heels Pre-school Gymnastics, based in Summers and Great Parndon are fully open in accordance with current government guidance. Over the summer they have been running their ever-popular holiday club and in September welcomed all their members back for a fresh start.
