A HARLOW author has said she feels honoured by a young reader’s reaction to her new book.

Yasmin Khan’s “Moira’s Magical Dreamstrands” was published last month at a special event in Tye Green library.

A few weeks later, a young reader called Jess was in contact to say that the book is a great comfort to her.

Jess visits her father, who is unwell in hospital.

Jess reads the book to him by his bedside.

Yasmin said: “I feel very honoured that my book will help other people too.

“If it is taking her mind off things and transporting her to a magical place then that has to be a good thing.”
