Voters go to the polls as by-election held in the ward of Bush Fair
News / Thu 23rd Jun 2022 at 07:10am
THERE is a by-election in the ward of Bush Fair today (Thursday June 23rd).
Polling stations are open from 7am to 10pm.
You do not need to take your polling card with you as long as you are registered to vote.
The candidates are as follows:
Emma Ghaffari Conservative Party
Kay Morrison Labour and Co-Operative Party
Jennifer Steadman The Green Party
Nicholas Taylor Harlow Alliance Party
The polling stations are:
St Stephens Church, Tawneys Rd, Harlow CM18 6QR
New Life Christian Fellowship, Purford Green, Harlow, CM18 6HP
Let's hope Kay Morrison wins. Despite me not being a fan of Momentum, I have to say Labour Leader Chris Vince could do with her experience in his group. I sat in on the last council Cabinet and I must say honestly that Labour's performance, and Mr Vince in particular, was ineffective. Chris Vince should have taken advantage of NEU teachers union negotiating training before he bailed out on the teaching profession.
Vote green , vote Jennifer,, local people. We need to get back to local issues.
