The I Can't Believe It's Not Boris of Harlow politics strikes again! You would think he'd have dropped that act considering how much trouble his hero is in.

Shame as most of these if not all of these will have foriegn speaking residents in them! The guy clearly said the residents can bid on them and that means the more kids you have and points you have the more likely you will get one! The whole council house allocation is corrupt im afraid! just try and phone someone to get on the waiting list! ha ha ha the answer would be sorry but unless you have kids your are looking at 30 years waiting!

So if they are going to build hundreds of new council houses are we going to be left with any green areas in the town

These aren't real council houses. I bid on flats weekly, and the new ones which have been privately built are over twice the monthly rent than ones the council built. Its a shame. 800 a month for a "council flat" just because its new and on a private estate.

Janet I agree the whole system is messed up and it seems top push people who cannot afford to bring up children in to having kids and then having the benefit system pay for them! just to get a bigger home its just so so wrong!
