Table Tennis: Harlow’s Ralph bats for England

RALPH Pattison didn’t hold back when he and the Under 15 England team ventured to Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, to kick off the European Youth Championships at the beginning of this month.
In the group stages, the fourteen-year-old,successfully won four out of five matches, and then went on to secure a crucial first game against Serbia winning 3-2.
In the group stages, the fourteen-year-old who is a member of Harlow BATTS ,successfully won four out of five matches, including two wins in a crucial first game against Serbia winning 3-2. This ensured that England were promoted to the top group in Europe.
But it didn’t stop there – Ralph fought on to pick up a win against both Luxembourg andTurkey and where he just missed out on a win during a ‘neck and neck’ game against world #4 in under 11 from Hungary.
This has been such an unforgettable performance for Ralph and the team, and we wish him the very best of luck in his next competition appearance.
