ESSEX Police held an anti-social behaviour (ASB) awareness week between July 18th and 24th.
We did ask Essex Police the following questions:
Questions
How many people were charged with driving an e-scooter without insurance?
How many e scooters were seized?
How many people were charged with offences relating to use of moto-bikes.
How many moto-bikes were seized?
An Essex Police spokesperson said:
“Our officers carried out a range of activities during anti-social behaviour awareness week.
“We gathered a number of intelligence reports relating to nuisance bikes, carried out stop-and-searches which led to the detection of possession of cannabis, arrested and charged a driver in relation to a driving while disqualified offence.
“A dedicated ANPR operation let to six stop searches.
“A joint operation between the Town Centre Team and the council community safety team resulted in 24 warnings being given for the way scooters and bikes were being ridden, and a fixed penalty notice for breach of a public space prevention order.
“We also seized a bike.
“And officers from our Community Policing Team also cycled 40 miles around Harlows cycle paths conducting high visibility patrols.
“Our work to tackle anti-social behaviour, in all its forms, doesn’t start or stop in ASB awareness week though and our teams will continue to work to tackle the issue alongside our partners”.
We have no chance on seeing a decrease in anti social behaviour here in Harlow, now we only have the Tory and Labour party in Council. It is thanks to these two parties that we, the Harlow residents have seen a increase in anti social behaviour because it is these two parties who have let the no gooders from London into Harlow and the law abiding citizens from London. Anything for their own pockets and nothing for us loyal Harlow residents.
And not the law abiding citizens from London
Fear of the stranger is as old as the hills and still completely irrational. I remember Dan Long's UKIP buddies regularly saying the UK is a Christian country. Well, here is a line from The Bible, Hebrews 13:2: "Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unaware."
