Wych Elm: Arrest after reports attempt to run a man over had been made

A MAN has been arrested in connection with an investigation into an attempted assault and criminal damage.
An Essex Police spokesperson said: “We received a report a man had made threats to a man in his 40s and then tried to run him over in Wych Elm, Harlow at around 7.30pm on 31 May.
The victim also reported being racially abused and that his car was damaged.
A 34 year-old man from Ongar has been arrested on suspicion of Attempted GBH with intent, assault, criminal damage, and racially or religiously aggravated intentional harassment.
He has been released under investigation.
