SHINSEIKYU Karate Academy in Harlow travelled to Grays to compete in the prestigious Yamaguchi Goju Kai Championships over the weekend.

Some great performances form this young squad, All of them competing in their first external competition.

Unfortunately Leonardo and Allessandro did not place this time but showed some great techniques in their bouts.

James Mann against much bigger opponents gained 3rd place in Kumite (Sparring) & Junior Leader Frank Reeves went one better gaining second place in his section against some very good fighters with lots of experience.
