Harlow Town 1 v 2 Berkhamsted

HARLOW Town’s deeply underwhelming start to the season continues with a home defeat to high-flying Berkhamstead.

To be fair, Berkhamsted are the form team in the league and goals by Adam Watkins (26) and Alie Bangura (34) gave the promotion chasing team all three points.

Harlow scorer was Jared Small with a 78th minute penalty.

Fans may take some comfort that this was a narrow victory against a leading side in the division but the facts are there.

Harlow Town are now third from bottom of the league and have lost three of their last four games.

The only compensation is that there are a lot of teams at the bottom, who are losing a lot of games.

They return to league action next Saturday away at Wiltshire-based Highworth Town.
