Police appeal after woman hit by car on pedestrian crossing near The Stow

ESSEX Police is appealing for witnesses following a collision involving a pedestrian and a car in Harlow at the end of last year. 

Officers were called to Howard Way, The Stow at around 5pm on 5 December 2022 following reports of a woman being hit by a car on a crossing. 

The pedestrian was taken to hospital with injuries to her ankle. 

Officers are continuing to investigate the circumstances of this collision and appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anything to contact us.

Happens all the time Drivers moan about the potholes but can’t slow down to let a pensioner or a child cross the road!!!

Why wait so long for the appeal? Dash Cam footage likely to have been over-written and memories fade !!!

The amount of people that do illegal right turns into aldi is an accident waiting to happen or worse still drive past and do a u-turn in orchard croft!

it was my friend who was hit , could anyone who may have been passing or seen something please contact the police as the lady involved showed no remorse and will be going to court very soon , thankyou
