HARLOW Council has unveiled its five year economic strategy which aims to put the town at the heart of the economic future of the east of England.
The new draft Harlow Economic Development Strategy sets out the key priorities for the Council’s approach to supporting the local economy. The strategy looks to address both the immediate short-term issues facing the local economy as well as ensuring that strong foundations are laid that will support a clear direction of travel for the longer term.
It was delivered by the Portfolio Holder for Business, councillor Joel Charles.
Film of the presentation and discussion is below.
interesting though the sound makes it hard to understand everything
Might be a good idea if the Council would publish their plan and undertake an active consultation with residents. They can't even meet promises about cycle tracks let alone plan the development of the town.
