POTHOLES of Harlow may not be filled in if a leading group of campaigners get their way.

The Harlow Pothole Appreciation Society have launched a campaign in which they are encouraging Harlow residents to “embrace your pothole”.

The group say they are planning talks with councils and the government in order to ensure that they are not filled in.

Among their plans.

1. Preservation Orders slapped on each pothole
2. A Harlow Pothole Trail just like the Sculpture Trail to be organised.
3. A Festival of Potholes in the summer with music, dance and mime.

YH went down to Old Harlow to speak to two of the group, Felicity D’Arbanville and Gail Foretescue-Smyth to discuss their plans.
