THE kitchen team at Abbot Care Home in Harlow have been praised for achieving a five-star food hygiene rating in a recent review by the Food Standards Agency.
The team working in the kitchen on Partridge Road ensure the food served in the home is not only varied and tasty but also prepared in a clean and safe way. Their commitment to ensuring the food is of the highest quality is a top priority for the team and they put their all into ensuring everyone eats a tasty, balanced diet every day.
“We’re delighted to receive this rating from the Food Standards Agency. It really is a testament to the team’s hard work to ensure the environment they prepare meals in is maintained to the same high standards as the food they serve,” said Home Manager, Ruth Halls.
Achieving this rating is a testament to the team’s hard work and ambition to make sure the people who live at Abbot Care Home get only the very best.
This is great that this team want to give the people in the care home a nutritious and varied meal and having a 5 star review for hygiene should be a given surely. You wouldn't serve your family or elderly relatives with anything that is substandard so why should care homes expect anything less. It's not like they've gone over and above something to feed their residents, they've done what they are hired and expected to do.
