HARLOW Town Cricket Club will be hosting the inaugural MG1 Family Fun Day on Sunday 28th May.

Harlow Town Cricket Club will hosting a Fun Day extravaganza on Sunday 28th May in memory of former player, president, life member and club legend, Martin Gladwin.

Martin was one of the driving forces in setting up and promoting youth cricket in the area and, as such, a junior festival is being hosted from 9 o’clock in the morning.

Following on from the junior matches, starting at midday, the club has organised a Fun Day that includes dozens of stalls, food from the Churchgate Sausage Shop, an ice cream van, inflatables and games for all the family, the bar will be open all day.

There is a dog show that will no doubt be incredibly popular, followed by a cricket match in memory of Martin, captained by his two sons Jason and Neil.

To wrap up the evening, former player, Tom Shirley and his band The Racoons will be playing from 7pm.

Entry to the event is completely free and Harlow Town Cricket Club are proud to be hosting an event for the Town.

We look forward to welcoming everyone.
