WE caught up with Harlow MP Robert Halfon at Harlow Credit Union event on Friday in the Harvey Centre.
We spoke to him on a number of issues: the work of credit unions; the news regarding a new hospital and the value of apprentices.
Interview below.
What a legacy legacy for Mr Halfon to refect upon in his own wprds - one of food and hygiene banks and 5000 children living in Harlow in poverty. Indeed, along with Tendring, Castle Point Harlow has been named as one of the most deprived areas in Essex according to new census data from the Office for National Statistics. Not to mention of course, spiraling interest rates for those with mortgages and rents to pay, food inflation and very many people increasingly struggling to make ends meet.
