Potter Street Community Fete raises over £4,000 for charity

Communities / Fri 7th Jul 2023 at 01:14pm

THE ORGANISERS of the Potter Street Fete have raised over £4,000 for a number of charities after a very busy and successful fete.

The fete held on the green opposite St Mary of Magdalene church was a fantastic event with hundreds attending and a huge variety of things to do.

But that was down to the tireless work of the committee.

The committee includes David “Tetley” Taylor, Dave Moore, Stephen Morton and Jill Middleton.

They were also appreciative of the sponsors including local business, SK Flooring

Sam Knott said: “I was only too pleased to help with the Potter Street Community Fete.

“I am a local resident and it is now a key date in the community calendar”

The organisations that have benefitted are:

Butterfly Effect Well Being

Mind in West Essex

Harlow Foodbank

Streets 2 Homes

We are all looking forward to next years fete already!
