SAFER Places, a domestic abuse support service based in Essex and Hertfordshire, has been shortlisted for the Investors in People 2023 award “UK Employer of the Year”.
For over 45 years, Safer Places has been providing a range of domestic abuse support services to survivors across Essex and Hertfordshire.
The award is given to organisations who prioritise the health and wellbeing of their staff and are committed to better working practices within their organisation.
In 2022, Safer Places had placed in the top 20 from the thousands of participating organisations and are eager to continue their winning streak.
Janet Dalrymple, CEO of Safer Places, said “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for this award, which has been achieved through the hard work of everyone in our organisation!
Safer Places strives for a community approach to wellbeing, whether it be staff, clients who use the service, or those we work collaboratively with. Our staff are the engine of what we do and without them we could not provide the high-level, quality support to vulnerable people when they most need it.
Thank you to every member of a wonderful staff, who made this achievement possible”
Good for you, Safer Places do a good job for their clients and obviously for their staff too
