Harlow Council building lit up in the colours of Israel

THE HARLOW Council civic building has been lit up in the colours of the flag of Israel.

The council, along with many other councils and organisations across the country has done this as a mark of respect and solidarity for the hundreds murdered by terrorist organisation Hamas at the weekend.

Harlow Council leader, Dan Swords said: “I am proud that the Harlow Council building is lit up in blue and white.

“We will also be flying the Israeli flag to show our solidarity with one of the greatest nations on earth”.

Harlow Labour leader Chris Vince said: “The recent horrific attacks on Israel are rightly condemned by people of all political persuasions. The families of the bereaved and injured are in our thoughts.

“Labour remains committed to a two State solution to bring lasting peace and security to the region”.

It’s really sad what’s happening on both sides right now but where was Harlow council when hen Israel massacred 36000 people in 2018?

Dear Jack, not sure where you got your information from, Israel never massacred 36000 people. Israel have never actively raped, kidnaped and murdered any men, woman & children as recently seen. Terrorists are terrorist and need to be removed. It is not the Israelis problem that these so called brave men freedom fighters hide behind civilians, which is what terrorists do. Also around 60% of Palestinians voted for Hamas. I feel sorry for the 40% who did not and have been stuck under the boot of Hamas and their brutal control of their own population.

i think lez is a bury your head in the sand sort of person, im alright jack so why should we help them, im sure lez would be moaning if we got attacked and no one helped us, and jack 36000 were injured not massacred in 2018, there is a big diffrence.

everything to do with war affects everyone on the planet in some shape or form, lez proberly didnt want involvment in ukraine either, i cant understand anyone that thinks like that

Remember folks, it was the British government who planted the seed of these troubles many decades ago. I stand with the innocent people on each side of this conflict, Israeli and Palistinians thus HC siding just with Israel is simply wrong. Those in charge always want war and it is poor Joe Bloggs that truly suffers.
