Report of man injured following water mains burst near Harlow Railway Station

THERE HAS been a report that a man has been injured after a water main burst near Harlow railway station today (Friday).
YH understands that a main burst on the pathway at the side of Wild “n’ Wacky that leads from Edinburgh Way to the railway station.
Affinity Water were there for a number of hours.

We understand that the man was on his bicycle, travelling down the path when his bike hit the hole. As you can see from the film below, his bike is almost completely submerged.

Black Cab Driver Dave who was on the rank at the station didn't hesitate in rushing him to Hospital he was soaked in Blood multiple fractures to his jaw.
Well done Dave. Hope the cyclist makes a full and speedy recovery x

Thankyou everyone for your kind comments,this was my nephew and he was operated on yesterday for a number of hours. He has multiple face fractures and a broken jaw and as you can imagine,he is in a lot of pain. Once again i want to thankyou for your kind comments and well wishes.

I hope Charlie makes a full and speedy recovery, what an ordeal! I commute to work by bike and this is genuinely giving me second thoughts, I didn't think pavements could just open up like this - I hope the utility company have an apparent reason why this accident happened?!
