It would be interesting to know the statistics, from last year, as to how many people/visitors availed themselves of these facilities. This is important for factual context.

What are you talking about? this is 2023 not Dickensian Britain and nobody should have to avail themselves of these facilities.

I did not suggest otherwise. I am just curious to know how much use was made of this last year. Please try to constrain your excitement.

James Leppard, what does it matter, are you saying if not used by many, your shut it down.. be about right, all ways about numbers a. If it warms a few , it's worth it...

James Leppard is so rude to people commenting on Your Harlow. He is a disgrace and if the leader of the Conservatives had any backbone, he'd be sacked.

Mark, you clearly are missing the point entirely. I have not made a single comment on this post that could be remotely construed as being rude. I am all in favour of warm spaces provision. It is completely normal to gather statistical data on order to assess, inter alia: usage and demand, locations, times of operation, adequacy of premises and alternatives, etc.

Rubbish James Leppard, if it's not used by many, your lot would shut it down,,all your thinking of is cost... not the people..As I said if it warms a few then its worth it.. people wouldn't need warm spaces if your government wasn't squeezing every penny of us all.. And up it all goes next January... so James Leppard next year you may have to provide a few more.. That may then include my self. While you sit in your cozy warm office, think of all the people to frightened to put there heating on.. This government is a disgrace.

Kim, I made my point clear. This council has no intention whatsoever of closing this service. Clearly, you are wrong and allowing your innate prejudice to cloud your judgment.

I don't think so James Leppard. Who's prejudice, just saying what I think, Again no need to be rude.

James Leppard

Not being rude at all. Disagreeing is not rudeness per se; on the contrary. However, respect is earned through presentation and articulation of researched and cogent arguments, substantiated by objective evidence.

I'll remind you Mr Leppard, you lit the flame, by your first comment. If you carnt tack the response, then may be choose your words more carefully..

Do the council realise there is a convicted pedo living at one of there warm spaces?
