The communication is appalling; the actual treatments and consultations are great, when you get to see a doctor, but the system is greatly let down on the admin side...Letters arriving late, or not arriving at all, last minute change of appointments or cancellations, staff just not understanding the patient requests when phoning. It's very frustrating for everyone.

The various parts of the NHS across the country are not even entirely connected. A friend of mine had a skin condition and attended an NHS Trust in South London for GP consultation, hospital tests, consultant visit, more tests and so on. Before the whole thing was concluded he had to move to the North of England, and was told there that he had to start the whole thing again as they were not connected to his previous Trust. What a waste of time and money.

I have found the service exceptional over the last few weeks, text messages, emails and phone calls and appointments
