We have to create opportunities for people to work and feel like they are achieving something, far to many in Harlow especially the 4th generation onwards etc feel a helpless and worthlessness. The town has an air of desperation and looks very run down. I have lived, worked and created my business here but in 24 years I have lived here it has declined significantly. The town centre is a mess (lots of issues I know), but industry and shops have left. Why does Stevenage who's town centre looks like Harlow still mange to attract large companies like MBDA, Airbus, etc yet Harlow does not ? Harlow is a northern post industrial town in the south, where is the pride, who are the local hero's outside politicians who are helping to build the town up. What are the employers(not the NHS or other state organisations) we can shout about, there is a lot to be proud about it just takes some positivity
