The Heath Players scoop top drama award

THE HEATH Players have won a top accolade at a much-coveted drama awards at the weekend.

Their production of Once Upon A Crime: The Trial of Goldilocks won the Best Drama Winner at the National Operatic and Drama Association (NODA) held in Ipswich.

Anyone who saw the play was very impressed by the quality of the production, acting and presentation as well as how funny it was.

Chair of Heath Players, Mark Ratcliff said: “This award is a great tribute to all involved with this production and all the members of Heath Players.

“I am about to bow out as chair after over 35 years but I believe that this shows that the Heath Players is in good hands.

“I would also like to praise the director Jo Gladstone. This was one of Jo’s first jobs at the helm. It was a brave move to choose this play and she did a fantastic job.”
