HARLOW U3A Choir was in fine voice as they performed a wide range of songs at the Dementia Café in Moot House this week. The programme began with a favourite number: Que Sera Sera, and it wasn’t long before the audience joined in with the chorus. Other crowd pleasers included Hit The Road Jack and a medley of Pack Up Your Troubles and It’s A Long Way To Tipperary.

The choir also sang a Scottish folk song, Westering Home, some of Howard Goodall’s TV Themes and Blackbird, written by Paul McCartney of The Beatles.
Soloist Russ Manning led on The Boxer, accompanying himself on guitar, with the audience joining in with the chorus as they did for the final number, Hey Jude.
Everyone – both singers and audience – thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and the choir hopes to return to the café in the near future with its new repertoire.
Great to support the work of the dementia café
